Ive been single for about 6 months & finding it difficult to get a good night out on a regular basis. I was unemployed for over a year but am working now & slowly getting back on my feet. I have checked a few dating sites but when I contact anyone I get taken to a payment page. Thought I would ask here before I start signing up for subscriptions. Tnx.. Also, Ive never tried online dating before.

dont pay none of them are worth paying money for and sometimes the people you contact are not real —- they have been set up by the site to suck people in or its used by scammers —- find a site that you can access the chat rooms for free and talk to the people there —- thats better than relying on a profile — the number of times i contacted ladies that had contacted me first and they never got back i lost count —– but try some of the so called "adult" sites —– some are actually very childish BUT i know of a number of relationships and marriages that have come about so they do work

i don’t know how good it is now but faceparty used to be very good and was free
also try looking at dating pages on facebook see what you think of the whole online experience before paying for a service that’s my advice

Okcupid.com freedating.co.uk and plentyoffish.com (pof.com) are all 100% free. There are lots of other sites which are free to sign up but then either charge you monthly or charge you per message, not only that but they often make it very difficult to delete your account.
By far Okcupid is the best one I’ve found. I’ve met nearly 20 women from that site alone.

There are many online dating sites that can be considered as better dating sites.. however I can’t give you the reviews about the plentyoffish or match.com because I never used them… not even the people I know ever used them.
However I can suggest you a site because few of my friends have used it and they are pretty happy from the results of this site… it is by the name of Isis and Osiris (http://www.isisandosiris.com.au/) You can try your luck out there and who knows you will find someone good over there…. all the best
