One of the oldest standard bits of advice that men get when it comes to women and dating is the adage of, just be yourself. Well, if you are faced with the dilemma of not having the success with women that you desire, it can make you wonder if you really should just try and be yourself. After all, being yourself does not seem to be working out so great, and there are many men out there that promote the idea of taking on a role to attract a woman.
So, should you just try to be yourself?
To put it bluntly, no. At least not in the sense that you have been already going about it. To be able to attract women, you have to be able to make a good and lasting impression. If you don’t usually do this, then just “being yourself” probably is not going to cut it. Yet, you also do NOT want to take on a role and try to be something that you are not. You have to instead work on being a more dynamic version of yourself.
This means that you cannot make yourself small around a woman.
A lot of men, especially shy men, have the mistake of continuing to be shy and soft spoken around a woman. And this does very little to spark attraction with her. You have to be able to show who YOU are. Unless you are able to allow a woman to see YOU and see what you have to offer, she is NOT going to be attracted to you.
The point is not to try and be a player or guy that lies to attract women, it’s about enhancing YOURSELF.
You have to be your best self and allow a woman to see this. Otherwise, she has very little to go on and probably will not have a great impression of YOU.
