Everyone lies on those things. You cant really trust anyone. Someone who says they’re 20 could be 43. The best thing to do is date in the real world.

There are dating sites targeted to just about any demographic. There is a wide variety of "lying" going on. There are little lies (changed photo, age, etc.). And then there are the scammers or people who use online dating sites as a recruiting ground.
e.g. A 50+ boomer goes into a site and gets flirted by an overly attractive 25 year old… The "relationship" starts and then she suggest they move the conversation to another site… It just so happens that she charges at the site… This is a type of scam…
Anyway… to be short. There is no overall target demographic. There is however a target demographic per type of scam.
