What to do when you are in love!

If you’re running after something as precious as love but aren’t sure of what it is, it’s unlikely you’re going to be successful at inviting it into your life. Most guys tend to confuse lust, attraction and desire with love. Even though they may seem similar and even related in many situations, they really aren’t the same thing.

Once you understand the differences, you’ll be better equipped to succeed with women.

Understanding the differences between love and lust.

If you see a girl walking down the street, wearing a short mini-skirt, with her hair waving in the air and suddenly your heart skips a beat, that’s lust & attraction. Men in general are very prone to feeling this desire and many confuse this with love.

If you haven’t even talked to the woman yet, then this is lust or attraction.

What about after you’ve talked to the girl ?

Another common situation that guys tend to encouter is to talk to a girl occasionally and they ‘fall in love‘ with her after a while. She might be funny, cute and seemingly everything that you want in your life and you develop some very deep feelings for her.

Unfortunately, I’m sorry to say, that this isn’t love either. This is infactuation, deep attraction and even obsession.

Defining love?

Love can be defined in many ways, and most of the time people (not just guys) will just feel it. It’s something that feels different than all the other attraction you’ve felt in the past and let me assure you, it’s quite undeniable. Love is something that develops after time, when you really begin to get to know a person and when they begin to know you.

Without getting too weird, love is the bond that two people form when they are completely open with each other. When you remove all the superficial behavior, all the physical appearance and mask that people put on and both male and female reveal themselves to each other. When everything is stripped down and you get to know one another, then you can feel love.

It’s seeing the true person underneath all our masks and loving that. Obviously there aren’t any true tests, but if you’d rather suffer than see the person in question suffer, then that’s one indicator that you might truely be in love. In that case, you’ll need to know how to love a girl.

Putting all of this to good use

Fortunately, this means that during your daily interactions, you are mostly in lust, attraction or even in obsession mode. This is a great place to be in and you can definitely use this to your advantage. When you realize that you are attracted to a girl, then you can use that to reduce the the fear of rejection by detaching yourself from the outcome. I garantee you’ll be attracted to hundreds of people so don’t be afraid to approach people you’re attracted to, that’s why they are there!
